2. How do we choose the right equipment for our pupils?
The right equipment for your pupils should be safe, durable, and adjusted for their level. Additionally, schools with highly competitive sports programs may opt for federation certified equipment.

All Sodex products include installation manuals. Additionally, for Vietnamese customers, we provide professional on-site survey and installation services upon request. For French and European customers, we have a network of installers to guide you if needed.
2. How should sports equipment be maintained after installation?
Typical maintenance tasks include visual inspection for structural deformation, tightening bolts and joints, foundation inspection, and safety testing. Please contact us for detailed consultation.
3. How long should school sports equipment last?
The lifespan of sports equipment depends on many factors such as frequency of use, environmental conditions, and maintenance. Structural components such as posts or frames can last up to 10–15 years, while consumable parts like nets may need replacement every 1–3 years, depending on climate and usage intensity. Regular inspections are integral to ensure equipment remains safe and in good condition.
4. What’s the best way to store sports equipment?
Storing equipment in a cool, dry space indoors can help extend the life of the equipment. Additionally, storing it away from spaces vulnerable to misuse is advised.
5. Is Sodex Sport equipment suitable for extreme weather?
Yes, specific products are especially suitable for hot, humid and coastal environments. Sodex products are designed for maximum durability and outdoor use, utilizing hot-dip galvanized steel or high-grade aluminum combined with advanced powder coating technology. Nets and plastic components are UV-treated, ensuring excellent durability even in the harshest weather conditions. Please contact us for specific products designed for your school’s climate.
Safety, Certifications, & Warranty
1. Can Sodex equipment be safely used across different age groups?
Yes, our equipment is safe for many age groups. To best suit your school, the equipment you purchase should reflect the ages and heights of your students. This ensures students are playing on equipment that’s right for them, like mini goals for elementary kids vs. full-sized goals for older teens.
2. How can schools reduce or prevent injuries and accidents during PE lessons?
Read and follow the instructions on the warning labels attached to all Sodex products. Please check that all fasteners and fixations are tightened before every use. Ensure that periodic checks are conducted to note the state of the equipment and keep it from deterioration. Goals must remain either anchored, fixed to the counterweight (football specific), or socketed, even when not in use. Do not climb nets or goals. Please consult us if you have any questions.
3. Does our school equipment need to meet certain safety standards and certifications?
It depends on the needs of your school and the decision of your directors. All Sodex Sport equipment is meticulously designed to be safe for use but if you are requiring material that is in compliance with EN standards, please contact us for the full range of EN compliant or international federation approved equipment.
4. Which international standards do Sodex Sport products comply with?
All Sodex Sport equipment is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 quality management systems.
Our products strictly comply with European safety standards and are tested and certified by independent inspection bodies.
The full list of safety standards is available on the Sport standards and security page on our website.
5. What’s the difference between EN standard and international federation certified equipment?
EN standard equipment meets European safety and structural requirements (such as EN 748 for football goals or EN 1270 for basketball equipment). These standards ensure the product is safe, stable, and manufactured according to recognized safety norms.
International federation certified equipment has undergone additional testing, inspection, and approval by the relevant sport governing body (such as FIFA, FIBA, or BWF). Certification confirms that the equipment is suitable for official competitions under that federation. All internationally certified equipment must first meet applicable safety standards; however, not all EN-certified equipment is federation certified.
Certified models are clearly identified on each product page.
6. How can we track what equipment we have and when it needs replacing?
Schools can manage equipment by keeping an inventory list, recording installation dates, and scheduling regular safety inspections (e.g., each semester or annually). When equipment shows significant wear or has failed at inspection testing, it should be replaced. Please contact us if you need to replace your existing equipment.
7. What is the product warranty policy? Is the warranty process simple?
The standard warranty period is 6 months for netting products and 12 months for mechanical products. Warranty service is fast and responsive. Extended warranty packages are available upon request.
8. What happens when the product is out of warranty?
We will still provide remote technical support for customers. Furthermore, when there is a need for maintenance, replacement, or repair, we will provide these services at a discounted cost for existing customers to help the equipment quickly return to operation.
