These sockets allow easily removing the rugby goal.
Thanks to its hinged base plates, there is no need to lift the goal out of its sockets.
The goal base plate and the in-ground sleeve base plate are securely fastened together to insure sturdiness during game play.
For disassembly, bolts are removed and the goal posts can be safely tilted to the ground and detached from the hinge, which then allows easily lifting out the base- plate and socketed sleeve.
